Today we went to 29palms CA to wish my brother off for a safe deployment to Iraq.

I wasnt expecting was i saw...

A young pregnant mother, wishing her husband goodbye, crying her eyes out, the men proud and strong, but so many young ladies with their little ones...

I guess you always see it in the movies but never believe it till you see it in real life. It almost made me cry. I don't think i could ever be away from Jesse for so many months...now i feel selfish...and admire these women for being so strong.

It is a hard choice, but good for their country.

I am having a hard time with my brother being away, so please no harsh comments.

hopefully he'll be safe and as for that yeah i know it first hand what hurts is when you show up expecting to see some other you know in the plattoon and their not there
